It is located in the village of Solvorn. The church is part of the Solvorn parish in the Indre Sogn deanery in the Diocese of Bjørgvin. The white, wooden church, which has 300 seats, was built and consecrated in 1883. The architect Waldemar Hansteen made the designs for the building.
